Photos of the Week - November 22

This weeks photos are quite different. I have a set of some SMC basketball photos which include a thunderdous dunk during the Purple Knights split during their home opener. I also got a new 14-week old kitty, and it was suggested to me by a friend to take some photos of him and post them as the photo of the week...so here they are...his name is "Eli"

This week I have a special set of photos of the week. This weekend, I photographed a wonderful wedding between two of my good friends from college. Many of you who are on this blog email were in attendance of this wedding so I thought I would send a preview of some of the photos from it (which will actually become my new portfolio for weddings). The rest of the wedding photos should be up late tonight, or early tomorrow (if you want me to email you a link as soon as I put

Photos of the Week - March 23, 2009

While recently up in Toronto, I was able to visit the tallest tower in the world, the CN Tower. Unfortunately, during the 5 days that I was there, not once was there a day when it didn't rain. Due to this, the view from atop the Tower was not very exciting as there was little visibility and poor photos to be taken. However, nighttime by the CN Tower is pretty nice as they light up the center of the tower with different color lights. These photos took many takes to perfect as I did not have a tripod to steady my hand through the night shot. However, for conscious hand holding they don't look too bad. These are my photos of the week!

Here is my second set of photos. I left the best for last. I would say all of these animals look either confused or angry. These were all taken at the Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, RI.

This week we have a singular photo of the week. This photo was taken during a stroll down RT 22A on the way to a basketball game in Glen Falls, NY. I am not exactly sure what town this is in but I know it lies somewhere between Panton, VT and Vergennes, VT. Enjoy!

Photos of the Week - February 2, 2009

For this weeks photos of the week, I am going totally un-sports related, which you may find is a rarity on this blog. For all of you non-sports lovers, cherish this weeks entries! Next week should have something coming from the big UVM basketball match-ups I will be attending against Binghamton and UAlbany this week. When looking at this weeks set of photos, try to envision yourself in the mind of the subject (a beaver). The facial expressions seen in this animal are a bit anthropomorphic, as in my eyes they exhibit three distinct human emotions. Although as humans, sometimes we look at creatures like this as a wild animal, if you observe these photos closely you get a sense that they may be able to think and feel like we do. Take a look and see if you can observe what I am getting at.
